It might help you to know that the site has 3 login databases.  Two are for the job board, one of the job board databases is for job seekers, and one is for employers.  There is another database for the rest of the site (Forum, Quiz, Photo Gallery, Shop, & Chat).  If you are registered in one, you are not automatically registered in the other.  Make sure you are not trying to login to the job board with a forum registration or into the forum with a job board registration.

There are only a few possible problems you could be having, they are:

1: You forgot your password:
Job board Job seeker: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/forgot_passwords.php?jobseeker=true
Job board Employer: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/forgot_passwords.php?employer=true
The Rest of the Site (Forum, Quiz, Photo Gallery, Shop, & Chat): http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php?action=reminder

2: You lost your activation key:
Job board Job seeker: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/forgot_key.php?jobseeker=true
Job board Employer: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/forgot_key.php?employer=true
The Rest of the Site (Forum, Quiz, Photo Gallery, Shop, & Chat): http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php?action=activate
- Note:  Some times the activation key is 'broken' onto two lines by your email program, in which case you will need to reassemble both parts manually to use it.

3: You forgot your user name:
You can use your email address instead of a user name to login to the forum.  There is no username in the job board, only an email address.

4: You have changed your email address or can not remember it:
If you have changed your email address, the best bet is to forget about that account, and start a new one.  Follow these links to register for a new one:
Job board Job seeker: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/jobseeker_signup.php
Job board Employer: http://www.nukeworker.com/job/company.php?action=new
The Rest of the Site (Forum, Quiz, Photo Gallery, Shop, & Chat): http://www.nukeworker.com/forum/index.php?action=register

4a: You have changed your email address or can not remember it, and you REALLY REALLY like your user name, or have some other reason to REALLY REALLY want to use that account.

Reasons might include: personal messages in your box, you have posted a lot of messages under that name or you have great karma, your resume is only available with that account, etc.  What ever the reason, If you would like the forum admin to help you reclaim your old account, you will need to become a gold member, as the non-gold member is not aforded that level of support.  If you are a gold member, send us an email.  Let us know you are a gold member, and that you need help.

Why not have just one login for all databases?

Why not have just one login for all databases?

People in the forum prefer to be anonymous, if the accounts were linked, there would be no anonymity.

When the site first went online 10 years ago, we asked people what they wanted, and thats what they said they prefered.

Let me amen Rennhack's post.  When I first started posting on NukeWorker, I was OK using a well recognized name.  Then one day, at my job, a supervisory person started saying weird things about me at company meetings, regarding my NukeWorker posts.  Back then, I needed another anonymous username to protect myself on posts where I really spoke my mind.  I would not have wanted the two tied together, absolutely.  I appreciate the community's vote to keep the accounts separate back then, and today.

Today, I post in my real name once again, but I really needed two post names back then.

I would probably be OK with telling you all who this Meter Maid person is today, since I don’t need it anymore,  but then again I might have to silence you, in unspeakable ways.
