Expected salary range of $120,600 to $134,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

Acts as a single point of contact for the assigned site for all Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) implementation issues. Provides NDE expertise to the Clean Energy Centers (CECs) to assist in answering questions regarding techniques and applications. Project manages the preparation and execution for an outage for the assigned CEC. Assists other CEC NDE personnel (Level II/III) during outages or large scope non-outage periods. Manages non-outage NDE that is required for the respective CEC to ensure proper resources are scheduled to perform the work. Sets priorities for NDE Technicians/schedulers/planners to ensure outage milestones are accomplished. Works with vendors to ensure scope of work is clearly understood and proper resources are scheduled to perform the work. Performs emergent NDE when necessary. Provides Training/Qualification/Certification and procedure development. Performs vendor NDE procedure review and approval and NDE personnel certification review and approval.


Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Project manages outage preparation and execution for Clean Energy Center NDE scope
  • Performs non-outage NDE and oversight
  • Provides contractor control and oversight
  • Provides training, qualification, certification, and procedure development
  • Leverage technology improvements across NDE organization
  • Travel is required for benchmarking, team meetings, and support of outages within the Constellation CECs.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Non-Destructive Evaluation or Nuclear Engineering Programs (American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Section XI NDE programs) OR
  • Associate's degree with 7 years of experience in Non-Destructive Evaluation or Nuclear Engineering Programs (ASME Section XI NDE programs) OR
  • High school diploma/GED with 9 years of experience in Non-Destructive Evaluation or Nuclear Engineering Programs (ASME Section XI NDE programs)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in ASME XI nuclear programs related to non-destructive evaluation applications (In-Service Inspection, Flow Accelerated Corrosion, Snubber inspections, Generic Letter 89-13, Boiling Water Reactor Vessel Inspection Program BWRVIP, Materials Reliability Programs MRP, etc.)
  • Level III NDE certification
  • Knowledgeable in contract/finance
  • Project management experience
