Job description
Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for a Project Engineer opportunity in Oak Ridge, TN at the Y-12 National Security Complex.

Description:

Provide Project Engineering support and coordination for various projects across one but not limited to:

Commercial, Infrastructure, Production Modernization, and/or Production Stockpile projects.
Engineering support necessary to complete planning, design and implementation of new machine tools and/or infrastructure upgrades.
Technical integration, leadership, guidance, and direction to other multi-disciplined engineering teams as requested for high profile plant initiatives and will appropriately apply ASME Nuclear Quality Assurance (NQA-1) requirements for work in nuclear facilities.
Plan and direct the engineering activities on projects.
Establish detailed project design scope, budgets, and schedules.
Professionally coordinate engineering efforts with Production, Maintenance, Project Management, Construction, Startup, and Project Controls personnel.
Review project engineering progress against approved schedules and take corrective action when required.

Qualifications:

BA/BS Degree from an ABET accredited school in a technical discipline
10 years of relevant experience

Other Job Requirements:

United States Citizenship
Must be able to obtain and maintain DOE Q Security Clearance. Active Q preferred.
