Interpret Images: Analyze radioscopic images to detect flaws such as cracks, voids, or inclusions in materials.
Documentation: Record inspection results, maintain detailed logs, and prepare technical reports for engineers and project managers.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all inspections comply with DOE regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of radioscopic equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Safety Compliance: Follow strict radiation safety protocols to protect self and others from exposure.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other technicians in multidisciplinary teams.

Certifications: ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) Level I or II in Radiographic Testing (RT) is often required; additional DOE-specific training may be necessary.
Experience: 10+ years of experience is preferred. Experience in a lab setting and instrumentation experience may be considered toward this requirement.
Skills: Attention to detail, technical proficiency with imaging equipment, strong analytical and communication skills.
