Quad Cities Clean Energy Center

Quad Cities Clean Energy Center’s two nuclear reactors in Cordova, Illinois can generate approximately 1,870 megawatts (MW) of clean, emissions-free energy. Constellation owns 75 percent of Quad Cities, producing enough electricity to power the equivalent of more than 1 million homes. The plant, which is operated by Constellation, is also home to the only privately owned fish hatchery on the Mississippi River and has raised and released millions of healthy fish. MidAmerican Holdings owns the remaining 25 percent of Quad Cities.
