TVA began limited work in 1974 under early work permits, and full-scale construction followed in April 1977 after construction permits were issued. TVA cancelled the Plant B reactors on March 22, 1983, and shut down work on Plant A on August 29, 1984. At that point Unit A1 was about 44 percent complete, A2 about 34 percent, B1 about 17 percent and B2 about 7 percent.
Never completed: cancelled in 1984
