Chooz is a nuclear power site in the commune of Chooz, in the Ardennes department of Grand Est, on the Meuse river. It occupies a panhandle of French territory that projects into Belgium, near Givet.

Chooz A was an early pressurized water reactor of Westinghouse design, built in the 1960s as a joint French and Belgian venture. It was connected to the grid in April 1967 and permanently shut down on 30 October 1991. Chooz B consists of two N4-design pressurized water reactors. Construction of unit 1 began in 1984 and of unit 2 in late 1985, and the units were first connected to the grid in August 1996 and April 1997.
