Breaker-to-Breaker Runs
5 runs
?
Breaker-to-breaker runs measure continuous operation between refueling outages using a cycle-adjusted threshold (90% of cycle length minus RFO duration). An active streak means the unit has been running continuously since the last refueling with no trips to 0% power.
FitzPatrick has logged 5 breaker-to-breaker runs, continuous stretches from one refueling to the next with no trip to zero power. Its longest ran 721 days, and its runs average 706 days.

Construction began on September 1, 1968. The plant has a General Electric BWR-4 boiling water reactor with Mark 1 containment. It was first connected to the grid on February 1, 1975, and entered commercial operation on July 28, 1975. The New York Power Authority operated the plant until it sold it to Entergy in November 2000.
